My research centres on migration-driven humanitarian assistance distributed by civil society and international organisations. My international postdoctoral project, funded by the Swedish Research Council, explores the contributions and understandings, practices and social relationships of various actors under different moral frameworks of hospitality as a humanitarian and human rights endeavour in Sweden. For this project, I will be based both at the Department of Sociology in Lund and at the Centre for Migration and Development, Princeton University. 

Teaching

I teach first and second cycle courses on topics such as social policy, migration and development and methodology, and am also the coordinator for the BIDS programme.
