I am a researcher focusing on how very short laser pulses, lasting attoseconds to femtoseconds, interact with noble gas atoms. To study these interactions, I use a method called relativistic time-dependent configuration-interaction singles (RTDCIS), which was developed in our group to solve the Dirac equation rather than Schrodinger equation to include relativistic effects. My main interest is in understanding how multiple electrons move and behave during these interactions and examining the properties of the electrons that are emitted. Currently, we are collaborating internationally to compare our theoretical findings with experimental data.
