My reseach interests revolve around provision and experiences of health services, self-care practices and health market formation. I have previously looked at how medical professionals and care seekers negotiate different care practices in the Swedish context. I have also examined how self-care and lay health knowledge evolve and shift in the digital society. 

I work inter-disciplinarily and learn from my collaboration with researchers from medicine, information studies and cultural studies.

I mainly use qualitative methods including interviews and ethnographic observation for data collection.
