Research
Saeed Dabestani is Associate Professor of Urology at Lund University and Consultant Urologist at Centralsjukhuset Kristianstad, Sweden. He is a fellowship-trained kidney cancer surgeon, certified by the Royal College of Surgeons and the European Association of Urology (EAU). As a robotic surgeon, his clinical work spans mainly renal, prostate, and urothelial cancers. His academic focus is renal and prostate cancer diagnostics, management, prognostics and follow-up.
He is involved in several international research projects, including as manager of the RECUR database and as chief principal investigator for the AURORAX-0087A study, and has authored high-impact systematic reviews, original research articles, and book chapters.
Internationally recognized for his contributions, Dr. Dabestani is a frequent invited speaker, moderator, and abstract reviewer at major urological congresses, and collaborates with leading cancer centers across Europe and North America.
