Personal profile

Research

I am currently employed as a PhD student for the research group Applied Gerontology, which falls under the Center for Ageing and Supportive Environments (CASE). I am working on a project entitled Welfare@home, which focuses on user-centered knowledge regarding welfare technology in the context of Swedish home care services. Through three separate but related studies we will explore user perspectives rarely considered in previous research and together with older adults (aged 65+) and home care staff identify crucial points for improvement of welfare technology, as well as draft guidelines for implementation and usage of welfare technology in home care services.

I have a background as a licensed physical therapist with a Master's in Public Health. I have worked as a physical therapist in the Malmö municipality for approximately eight years.
