Personal profile

Research

I am an Associate Professor of Psychology specializing in leadership and organization, and my research focuses on how organizational and social structures influence working conditions, health, and sustainability in various sectors. I am particularly interested in psychosocial safety climate, the organizational conditions shaping managers’ work, as well as workplace bullying and digital harassment.

Throughout my research career, I have led and participated in several large research projects funded by, among others, Forte, AFA Insurance, and Vinnova. A central theme in my work is bridging research and practice through close collaboration with public and private organizations—especially within healthcare and education—to develop knowledge that can contribute to improved working environments and strengthened leadership.

My scholarly work includes studies on bystander behavior in workplace bullying, digital aggression, organizational preconditions for sustainable leadership, and working conditions in human service organizations. I also frequently contribute to media, panels, and public discussions on work environment, leadership, and the consequences of digitalization for working life.

I teach at both bachelor’s and master’s level in areas such as work and organizational sociology, leadership, learning, organizational change, work environment, and research methodology.

Teaching

I primarily teach courses within the HR programme at both undergraduate and master’s level. My focus areas include leadership, learning, organisational change, work environment management, and research methodology.

Outreach

My collaboration activities are closely integrated with both teaching and research and are carried out in cooperation with public-sector organizations and labour market actors. Within education, I have worked with collaboration through project-based courses and thesis supervision, where students engage with representatives from healthcare, municipal services, and other societal organizations. I also have experience of commissioned and contract education, including courses in occupational psychology and value-based leadership.

In research, I have extensive experience of practice-oriented and commissioned collaborative projects. I have led and participated in several projects with Region Skåne and other organizations, focusing on leadership, work environment, supervision, and organizational conditions within healthcare and education. Several projects have applied participatory and co-creative research approaches and have resulted in scientific publications, reports, and practical knowledge outputs. In addition, I have contributed to the development of research collaboration at an institutional level and regularly disseminate research through lectures, seminars, and media engagement.
