Research

I work in mathematical analysis, and in the last few years I have been working with applications in mathematical biology. Among the areas I have been working in I am mentioning:

Calculus of variations and critical point theory, with applications to semilinear second order partial differential equations,
Embedded eigenvalues within spectral theory for operators occuring in mathematical physics, e.g. quantum mechanics,
The theory of age structured cell cycle models with applications to cancer research,
Mathematical theory of mass action systems in neuro science.
