Current research

My current project is situated in the cross-university programme MISTRA Sustainable Consumption. The project aims to understand how sustainability is interpreted, used and communicated within initiatives aiming to influence or facilitate sustainable consumption patterns, specifically within tourism/leisure, as well as food.

My previous research has focused on community initiatives for waste reduction, alternative organisational formats for sustainability, and the impacts of COVID-19 on sustainable travelling. I hold a PhD in environmental social science from the University of East Anglia, UK.
