Current research

Sarai-Anne Ikenze is a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Political Science. She is part of the research project “Imperial Capacity: Studying the Impacts of Colonial Bureaucracies on State Development.” Her research is focused on the politics of economic reform in developing countries.  

Sarai-Anne received her PhD in political science from Lund University in 2022. She has held Visiting Assistant Professorships at Northeastern University London and Providence College and has taught courses in international law and relations, African politics, development studies, and peace and conflict.
