I am an information studies researcher with great interest in critical perspectives on archiving, archives, technology and data. My research focus is archival challenges connected to digital culture and the ubiquitous use of technologies such as the web, social media platforms and AI.

I am currently exploring these themes connected to war, conflict and human rights in the project Preserving War Online, together with Elzbieta Drazkiewicz. This project examines human rights organisations, including civil society and grassroots initiatives that document and preserve digital open-source information depicting conflict and human rights violations. With a particular focus on how they use and encounter digital technologies, this project explores how remembrance, accountability and ethics are shaped by digital manifestations of war and conflict. 

My doctoral dissertation examines the archival challenges of online participatory cultures on social media platforms and the implications of platformisation and datafication on defining, interpreting and documenting these cultures for the future.
