Signe Borgquist is a medical oncologist working as a senior consultant at The Trial Unit, Skåne University Hospital in Lund. Dr. Borgquist holds a position as Associate Professor at Lund University, and she is heading the translational research group ”Breast Cancer Prevention and Intervention” within the Division of Oncology and Pathology at the Department of Clinical Sciences, Lund. The scientific areas of interests include breast cancer risk estimation and prevention with a dedicated focus on obesity-associated markers, as well as functional studies on the molecular interactions between adipocytes, lipids and cancer cells.
