Research

My research focus on gerontechnology (technology for older persons), welfare technology and everyday community mobility, life-space mobiity focusing on older people and aging. I am interested in user involvement including how it can happen and be promoted, as well as conducting research in other areas including mobile geriatric team for frail older people. My research interests also concern attitudes and experiences of different types of technology from a generational perspective. I apply qualitative as well as quantitative research designs.
