Personal profile

Research

I am a licensed psychologist specialized in adult clinical psychology and currently work at the Pain Rehabilitation Clinic within the Department of Neurosurgery and Pain Rehabilitation. I am also an Associate Professor and lecturer at the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Social Sciences, and a member of the Rehabilitation Medicine research group at the Department of Health Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, Lund University.

My research focuses on optimizing treatment interventions for individuals with chronic pain, with particular attention to populations with psychiatric comorbidity, PTSD, endometriosis, whiplash-associated disorders, and trauma-affected refugees. I currently lead several projects aimed at developing and evaluating internet-based interventions for chronic pain in combination with PTSD, endometriosis, and emotion-related difficulties.

Through the integration of clinical expertise, interdisciplinary collaboration, and innovative digital methods, my work aims to advance evidence-based rehabilitation and improve long-term outcomes for individuals living with complex pain conditions.
