Personal profile

Research

I am a research fellow at the Centre for East and South-East Asian Studies at Lund University in Sweden. My research’s regional focus is China and my theoretical interest is concerned with new institutional economics and the political economy of regulation. I am covering a rather broad range of topics such as financial markets, public administration, and innovation. Currently I am member of a larger research group working on 'digital China'. In this context I look at the role of data and data production for the distribution and redistribution of political power and economic wealth.
