Research
I study the influence of social factors for incidence, prognosis and treatment of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease in Sweden. In my PhD-project I participate in the development of novel methods to evaluate different aspects of equity in health. My goal is to evaluate whether any socioeconomic factors contribute with clinically relevant information that should be taken into account by clinical and public health professionals. My PhD project is a part of a broader research project at the unit for Social epidemiology focusing on multilevel analyses of individual heterogeneity.
