Personal profile

Research

I study avian blood parasites, focussing on developing a mechanistic understanding of host-parasite interactions in migratory birds. I enjoy programming, developing methods for analysis and applying these on question-driven research projects.

My current project, funded by an SNSF postdoc mobility grant, started in April 2021 and includes a technical revision of the MalAvi database as well as data analyses on different aspects of host-parasite interactions.
