Personal profile

Research

I am a postdoctoral researcher in Human Rights Studies. Until 2028, I will be working under an international postdoc grant from the Swedish Research Council to ethnographically investigate children and young people's possibilities for legal rights-based climate activism in India, applying critical child rights theory. This project is based at Lund University, but with collaboration with BML Munjal University (India) and Antwerp University (Belgium).

In 2023, I defended my PhD thesis about NGOs as implementers of children's rights in India. My general research interests are critical child rights theory, India, ethnographic approaches to human rights studies, human rights duty bearing/responsibility, climate litigation and activism, civil society, civic spaces, NGOs, and children's rights related to representation and participation.
