  • Pedagogical rhetoric

My main research interest concerns the subject of Pedagogical rhetoric, which investigates what we do with our spoken words and how the spoken words influence us in pedagogical situations. Pedagogical rhetoric aims at increasing our knowledge of the teacher´s responsibility to support a pedagogical relation. Pedagogical rhetoric considers the ethical dimensions and the emotional aspects of our verbal language.

The Scholarship of Teaching and Learning in higher education: Its constitution and transformative potential. The Swedish Research Council in cooperation with the National Research Foundation South Africa.

Pedagogical rhetoric and Rhetorical Pedagogic funded by The Swedish Research Council.

Developing the seminar for postgraduate students. A cross-disciplinary rhetorical approach, sponsored by the Council for Renewal of Higher Education.

Teaching

I teach at undergraduate and graduate levels, and I supervise PhD students in education and rhetoric.
