Research

My research interest is to develop ultrasound based techniques to improve diagnosis or therapeutic effects. Currently the focus is on the development of a novel technique where iron oxide nano-particles may be used as a contrast agent for ultrasound. We expect the technique to be useful to put an earlier diagnosis in disesases such as cancer, but also to be an aid for surgeons in localizing diseased tissue.
