Research

My research has been focused on primary care and public health, and has involved studying various areas such as chronic pain, pain management, polypharmacy, medication related problems, eHealth and cardiovascular diseases. The research has mainly been focused on clinical assessment methods, i.e. development and evaluation of health measurement scales and screening methods. 

Research has also been done in the field of medical education and has focused on topics such as education climate, curriculum development, and development of clinical supervision. Another research area of mine is the history of medicine, mainly in the field of primary health care, where my studies have investigated, e.g. the working conditions and treatment methods of provincial practitioners and district nurses during the 1800s.
