Personal profile

Research

Perform research to enable a sustainable construction industry, focusing on energy use, life cycle analyses, waste generation and circularity.

My ongoing research projects include energy sharing between buildings and properties, residentialisation of local buildings, urban planning to avoid demolition, innovation for increased circularity in the construction industry, energy-efficient renovation with a low carbon footprint of culturally valuable buildings, thematic collaboration initiatives on circularity in the construction industry and circularity projects within LU's research school Agenda 2030.

I am the coordinator of LTH's profile area Circular building industry, which has given me the opportunity to participate in steering groups and reference groups for various research projects and is, among other things, a member of the circular committee in Malmö's initiative towards climate neutrality, LFM30.
