Personal profile

Research

My research focuses on mental health, well-being and recovery of persons with mental health problems, instead of their diagnosis and limitations. Since 2002 I have studied the connection between time use and mental health, attitudes and stigma, as well as evidence-based interventions for work, studies and housing that strengthens the individual. Developing a positive psychiatry that is part of society and departs from user needs is central.
