Doctoral thesis: Social exclusion for sale - Discourses on social enterprises in Sweden

My research primarily focuses on the role of civil society, social enterprises and social entrepreneurship in on-going welfare transitions in Sweden. Domestic discourses on voluntary and non-profit involvement in welfare delivery, EU influences on Swedish social entrepreneurship, and possibilities for people in socially marginalised position to use the civil society to challenge social and cultural oppression, summarize some of my principal research topics. Another field of research regards mental health issues of children and young people, and especially children who are subject to various forms of child welfare interventions.
