Research

Studies during my PhD and in my thesis focused on risk factors for falls in relation to age, predictive validity for instruments measuring risk of falls, the effects of an RCT study with a Case mangement intervention for frail elderly people living at home concerning falls and fall injuries and an interview of elderly peoples' experience of living with chronic dizziness. Today my research focus on palliative care; physical therapy in palliative care, needs and priorities of patients in specialiced palliative care, and quality indicators and measuring instruments in palliative care. I'm also working in a research project that evaluates rehabilitation after primary breast cancer surgery.
