I am a postdoctoral fellow supported by the Swedish Research Council (Vetenskapsrådet). My research develops at the intersection of cognitive psychology, human-centred technologies, and design. My research explores human visuo-locomotive experience under naturalistic embodied conditions (in-the-wild and in virtual reality) by analysing multimodal behavioural data (e.g., gaze, motion). Currently I am focusing on high-level cognitive processing in visual search and foraging and the effect of ageing in everyday activities and naturalistic settings. My work is also concerned with the development of interdisciplinary methodologies needed to incorporate behavioural principles in the design and development of human-centred assistive technologies and AI systems, such as design-assistance technologies and autonomous driving.

I obtained my PhD in Computer Science at Örebro University (Sweden) in 2023, supported by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Grant.  I have previous worked and studied at Jagiellonian University (Poland), University of Bremen (Germany), University College London (UK), University of Patras (Greece). Since 2015, I have been a member of the DesignSpace Group (www.design-space.org), as well as of the CoDesign Initiative (www.codesign-lab.org), where I investigate human perception and cognition in the built environment, inclusive design principles, as well as the development of a cognitive technological framework for human-centred technologies.
