Research

I am Senior Lecturer in English Linguistics at the Centre for Languages and Literature, Lund University. I received my Ph.D. from the Department of Computer Engineering and Informatics at the University of Patras, Greece, in 2015. I hold a Bachelor in Greek Philology and Linguistics, from the Department of Philology, University of Patras, Greece and a Master of Research in Computational Linguistics from the Université de Strasbourg, France. My research interests include Corpus and Computational Linguistics, Social Media Text Analysis, Sociolinguistics. I worked as postdoc in the StaViCTA project (https://cs.lnu.se/stavicta/) at Linnaeus and Lund University (2016-2017), and as Innovation fellow at the ESRC Centre for Corpus Approaches to Social Sciences (CASS) at Lancaster University, UK (2018-2019). I was the PI of the LangTool project (https://projekt.ht.lu.se/langtool, 2018-2022). Since 2018, I collaborate with the Modern Greek unit at SOL for research and teaching purposes.
