Research

I am a researcher and senior lecturer in English Studies at the Centre for Languages and Literature at Lund University. I received my Ph.D. in Linguistics/Computational Linguistics from the Department of Computer Engineering and Informatics at the University of Patras, Greece, in 2015. I hold a Bachelor in Greek Philology and Linguistics, from the Department of Philology, University of Patras, Greece and a Master of Research in Computational Linguistics from the Université de Strasbourg, France. My research interests include Corpus Linguistics, Computational Linguistics, Sentiment & Stance Analysis, Social Media Text Analysis, Sociolinguistics, Analysis of Financial Texts. From January 2018 to August 2019 I worked as Innovation fellow in the ESRC Centre for Corpus Approaches to Social Sciences (CASS) at the Department of Linguistics and English Language at Lancaster University, UK. Since 2018, I collaborate with the Modern Greek Section in SOL for research and teaching purposes.
