Personal profile

Research

I am doctoral candidate in Economic History, and my research focus is neighbourhood effects on the life course. My thesis project deals with the impact that childhood neighbourhoods have on fertility, family formation and transition into adulthood later on in an individuals life. My research is on the intersection between longitudinal and spatial analysis of historical and contemporary populations, using geocoded individual-level microdata. I am currently a member of The Long Reach of the Neighbourhood (Handelsbanken Forskningsstiftelser, Vetenskapsrådet and FORTE, 2021-2025) project, led by Finn Hedefalk, Martin Dribe and Gabriel Brea-Martinez, who are also my supervisors.
