Yang De Marinis, PhD, is Associate Professor at the Department of Clinical Sciences, Lund University, Sweden. She is also Chair Professor at Shandong University (China), Visiting Scientist at the University of Oxford (UK), and Board Member at Diabetes Sverige (Diabetes Sweden).

Yang De Marinis' research team is focusing on epigenetics and genetics of diabetes complications, biomarker diagnostics, as well as regulation mechanisms of metabolic disorders and multi-centre clinical cohort studies. The group is leading in several cutting edge technologies including genome-wide chromatin immunoprecipitation sequencing, genome engineering by CRISPR/Cas9, machine learning in artificial intelligence (AI) application on clinical cohort studies, and various cell biology and molecular genetic methods.

In 2020, Yang De Marinis founded MedTech company Lundoch Diagnostics, which was listed as one of the 33 best young tech companies in Sweden in 2022. Yang De Marinis is the Chairman of the Board and CEO of Lundoch. www.lundoch.com
