Research

My research focuses on the non-exhaust emissions originating from brakes, tires and roads from road and railway transport I explore the mechanisms responsible for their generation, and their potential impacts on human health and the environmental. In recent research projects, we are digging into the study of carbonaceous and ultrafine particles emitted from automotive disc brake systems.
