Professional work

I am Associate Professor with the Department of Automatic Control, Lund University, Faculty of Engineering (August 2022 -).  I am WASP-affiliated faculty a member of the ELLIIT Strategic Research Area at Lund University. One part of my research team is located at the Division of Systems and Control (SYSCON) at Chalmers University of Technology. I serve as  Associate Editor for the IEEE Robotics and Automation Letters, International Conference on Robotics and Automation, International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems, the European Control Conference. I have been  a reviewer in the major scientific journals specialised in robotics and automatic control. I also serve as the treasurer of the IEEE Robotics Chapter in Sweden.


My research intersests include: Robot control, robotic manipulation in human-centered environments, dual arm manipulation, force control, grasping control, robotic assembly, control of physical human-robot interaction, robot learning, robot navigation and reactive planning,  multi-agent robotic systems, adaptive control and nonlinear control systems.
