Description

A new research infrastructure that will replace an older instrument which had been lost in a fire incident at a research site. With a new PTR-TOF-MS instrument research groups at three faculties at Lund University (Faculty of Science, LTH and Medicine) will benefit from increased capacity and applicability in a multitude of research areas. The new instrument is able to detect and quantify volatile
organic compounds (VOC) at split-second time resolution with very low detection limit (ppt-level) and high mass-resolution to identify different chemical compounds.
