Description
Soot particles affect health and climate. We aim at characterizing soot particles in background environments, and their source origin, and how the particles transform during long-range transport. Finally, we investigate how this affects climate and health relevant soot particle properties. We use several aerosol measurement techniques, mainly SP-2, SP-HR-TOF-AMS, DMPS, AE33, DMA-APM, PSM, nephelometer, CCN-C and IN-C.
Two measurement stations are used to study soot particles from the emissions (Dalaplan, Malmö town), to the agein at Hyltemossa, rural background ACTRIS station.
