The activity of design is central to further studying the relationship between human beings and artefacts, and to discuss human agency.

The contribution of this study would provide evidence for a further understanding of the way that participants relate mind, body and materials during the process of design; which is also relevant for the current debate on extended/distributed cognition and material agency
