Description
Mammography is the established method in breast cancer screening, but it have limitations. Breast tomosynthesis, mechanical imaging (MI) of the breast and artificial intelligence (AI) are potential methods of improving breast cancer screening. This doctoral thesis aims to investigate the combination of AI and MI to reduce the proportion of healthy recalled women, and to thereby improve specificity.
