APTw imaging for brain tumour differentiation and differentiation of treatment effects

Project: Research

Project Details

Description

In this research we aim to implement and use a new MR sequence Amide proton transfer imaging (APT), a sequence that do not need contrast administration to depict brain tumour lesions, and its parameters to differentiate high-grade from low grade brain tumours and to differentiate treatment effects like pseudo-progression or radiation injury from true tumour progression. This study has several subprojects.
