The bogs Ageröds Mosse and Rönneholms Mosse with its total area of 12 km2, form a northwesterly arm of the Ringsjö Basin of central Scania. New excavations in the bog Rönneholms Mosse were initiated in the mid 1990s. because of exploitation of peat. More than one hundred small sites most including a heath and some refuse have been identified and excavated. The number of these small sites is unique
