Characterization of tau pathology heterogeneity across the Alzheimer’s disease spectrum

In this project we focus on characterizing different subtypes of Alzheimer’s disease, which are caused by four different spreading patterns of abnormal tau protein in the brain. We try to understand the pathophysiology behind these subtypes, and their relevance for clinical practice and trials.
