The project encompasses development of methodology for generating Land Surface Phenology data for the Copernicus Global Land Operations Service.
Popular science description
Land surface phenology describes the seasonal dynamics of vegetation. In the project, descriptors of vegetation phenology will be generated for the globe, based on satellite data. Examples of descriptors are start-of-season, end-of-season, total productivity, and amplitude.
