Cultural Encounters in Exile. German-Jewish immigrants in the Swedish music life during the 20th century.

By way of a collectic biographical method, this project investigas the exile of a number of German speaking individuals working in the field of music that came to Sweden, in the flight from the Nazi regime. How did there exile influense their loyalty to the Jewish, German and Swedish cultural heritage? What was ther contribution to the Swedish culture- and music life? How where they recieved?
