Popular science description
Data and the law was a subproject under the project Exploring challenges for New Big Science. The realization of ESS and MAX IV in Lund, Pufendorf Institute. In this project different perspectives on new big science was studied. In focus were the two large facilities being built in Lund, the European Spallation Source and Max IV. Our subproject focused on the prerequisites for the legal protection of data and question of accessing and using data even though there may be proprietary rights attached to it.
