Project Details
Description
Small interfering RNA (siRNA) have the potential to shut down in theory any (onco)gene. Delivery of siRNA to the cytosol in the target cell is however challenging. If this challenge could be overcome, siRNA drugs could be a totally new treatment in the arsenal agains aggressive brain tumors such as glioblastoma with a median survival time of 12 months despite current treatment.
