My dissertation project concerns narrative as part of childrens’ learning, and as material for toy design. It explores how children use narrative to attribute meaning to artifacts, and how toys contribute both as objects for exploration and cognitive assistance. The aim is to develop toys that challenge and promote children’s understanding of causal relationships.
