Electromechanical sensory feedback system for prosthetic limbs

Project: Dissertation

Project Details

Description

The aim of the project is to develop a non-invasive sensory feedback system to provide upper-limb amputees with grasp-force sensory feedback when using a myoelectrically controlled prosthetic hand. In this way, with the prosthetic hand, the amputees increases their ability to interact with their surroundings. By restoring the sensory feedback it may also make it easier to control the prostheses and reduce phantom limb pain in amputees.
