Description
This project aims at creating a fast, yet accurate Monte Carlo framework for modeling key protein properties such as structure and stability in the presence of macromolecular crowders (protein, RNA, DNA). It will in particular be applied to investigate A 42 and - synuclein, two proteins related to Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases, respectively, both of which are intrinsically disordered and therefore potentially sensitive to crowding effects.
