Evaluation of speed-securing measures on rural roads

Much is known about traffic calming in urban areas. However, these solutions cannot always be used on rural roads. The projects studies the already built chicane-like solutions around Skåne, with the goal to describe the relation between the chicane geometry and the highest speeds of the traffic passing through it. Speeds of the cars and lorries are collected using drone-based video camera and a computer program for video analysis.
