Project Details

Description

The primary goal of my research is to determine the controlling role of moisture on the decomposition response to warming in tundra ecosystems. Furthermore, I want to increase our understanding of the underlying mechanisms driving climate-induced changes in litter decomposition rates and their impacts on plant performance by measuring shifts in microbial community composition and determining climate-induced changes in nitrogen cycling from litter to plants and microbes.
