    Popular science description

SEAPRO (funded through the Eurostars program) will develop a brand-new food process to industrialise fermented seaweed as a new ingredient for use in the food and nutraceuticals markets. By applying optimised cultivation conditions, advanced bacterial strains and
specific fermentation process conditions, we deliver a unique process for producing fermented seaweed that offers novel flavours and health benefits for consumers, and unprecedented production capacity and logistic flexibility for seaweed producers.
