From Changing Resouces to Changing Practices

I conduct research project “From changing resources to changing practices”. It is about how organizations learn when strategy direction changed from health care oriented toward health promoting oriented activities. Among the main concepts are strategy as practice, change which comprises paradigm change from previously offered services based on pathological perspective of post diseases rehabilitation treatments toward salutogenic perspective based on preventing diseases by promoting healthy lifestyle. The attempt is to understand daily based activities of service processes based on health promoting paradigm and their implementation at work places.
The theoretical framework consists of concepts of strategy as practice and concepts within health promoting management. The objects will be health service companies as well as Health & Environment Units at service organizations. I aim to study organizational management process when changing their strategy orientation from health care toward health promoting services.
