GARD - An in vitro assay for toxicological assay development

The project if focused on continued development of the in vitro assay GARD. The assay was originally developed for hazard identification of skin sensitizers. However, the concept of utilizing genomic technologies combined with statistical methodologies and machine learning was shown to be effective. This project explores additional developments to the assay, which include technological optimization and work to extend the assay to additional toxicological endpoints.
