God help his soul - power and religion on rune stones in Halland

The aim of the project is to study rune stones from Halland. The material consists of four monuments from a limited area north of Halmstad. The rune stones are comparatively young, and date from the period ca. 1000 - 1300 AD. They are all Christian, and most of them have been intended as funerary monuments. The project studies the style, function and context of the monuments.
